Am I the A-hole for wanting my friends to sometimes help me with chores?

My roommates and I have been living together for about a year. We've made a terrible agreement where we each take turns doing the dishes, but lately, it feels like I'm always the one putting in the work. Last week, my friend totally forgot to do their turn. I got really upset because they just acted like it wasn't a big deal. I told them that it was rude, and they started arguing. Now, they're saying I'm overreacting.
